Printing Problem??? All you geniuses please help! - 11-11-2005, 08:29 PM

I'm having serious printing problems at Costco. Go to a different lab you say? I know, but I've been using this lab for quite a while and have always gotten great prints from them...until this batch that is. I printed a variety of sizes of prints from a recent shoot. For my wallets, I crop and cut and paste two wallets and print it on a 4x6 sheet. The wallets all look exactly like I dreamed they should. Every other picture, however, has a STRONG green color cast. The wallets are created from the exact same file that the larger prints are. I've tried twice to print these pictures with the same result each time. I've compared the image files on three different computers and can see no difference, but as soon as the lab tech pulls them up on her screen, she sees the color cast without even printing. What in the world is going on??? I am at a loss. I haven't changed anything in my workflow. Any ideas? Suggestions? PLEASE???

I think you'll be OK, they have a thin candy shell. I'm surprised you didn't know that.

Before I looked for any problems, I would try another - or two - printing labs. If you get the same results, then maybe your ICC settings are off.
