Remember that when you're metering something white, that what the camera thinks it's seeing is a mid-gray. As stated by a previous poster, set your meter to overexpose by a stop or two Just the opposite for metering off of something black. Again, the camera see's it as mid-gray, so to get the black to look black instead of gray, underexpose by a stop or two. It's the easiest way I can remember, hope it helps you too! |
