This is a discussion on 7 Habits of Effective Photographers within the Photo Tips forums, part of the Photography Information category; The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Photographers Photofocus...
Thats very true, and even *I* can notice that in others as new as I am. Habit #1 was the reason that I decided to rebrand and focus my efforts on pets. When I looked at all the photogs that I follow, no matter what 'genre' if you will, they all specialized and were KNOWN for one particular thing. They do other things just as well, but their income is based on that niche.
ETA: Loved this part as well "Ignore the negative. Embrace the positive. Move forward and leave the doubt, fear, bitterness, anger and jealousy that plagues much of our world behind. You’ll be a better shooter for it."
