I scanned the article. It's great if you want to get really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, technical about it. I'm sure it's good, but it's probably more than I need to know. As SWatters likes to say: YMMV.

Well when you read Zeiss you should have known that it would be REALLY DETAILED! (45 pages is a hint) But now you have a go too source for any bar-room discussion on Bokeh!
