Photography Books

I have really been getting alot of info on this forum, but i was wondering if anybody knows of any good books that i can look thru. This would give me something to look at during lunch while iam on road....any info would be great.

theres some good discussion about shutter sppeds/apertures/iso ratings and how they relate to each other.. i think that threads has a lot better explaination than i gane u the other day!

If your into sports check out Digital Sports Photography by G. Newmann Lowrance. It can be found at any Barnes and Noble or Amazon.com I have it and find it really informative as far as what it takes to get the great shots that we see in Si or sporting news.

Lisa, Alex and I were at a local book store and came across this book..

It seemed to be a great book for the starting photog because it really gave some good explainations on how to understand exposure. it even had a ton of side by side photos of the same subject shot using varying settings. Each photo listed the camera settings used such as shutter speed and aperture. this really helps you understand what different settings do in different situations and how it affects your depth of field etc.
