Hot pixel!
http://webpages.charter.net/bbiggers...ot_pixels.html
very informative.
I say just clone out the pixel or send the camera back and have them "map out" the pixel.

Yep, hot pixel.
Pretty much all digitals have them (or if they don't now, wait a bit and they will).
My old one has a few, but they don't normally become obvious unless I do long exposure stuff.
It's so obvious that it bothers you, I'd try and ignore it.

Dead, stuck, hot....pixel. You LCD monitor, TV, projector has them all.

You get in 3 colors, R, G or B depends on which is choking. it's more define shoot in high ISO but don't confuse dead pixel from noise, they are diff. It's very easy to deal with by the way, one simple click away with PS healing tool, spot healing tool is way too convenient for dead pixel.

I saw that on an image when I first got my 20D, and I freaked thinking dead pixels, or hot pixels. I don't see it really anymore, if it does show up, I would just clown it out.

edit, maybe cloneing it out would be more effective than clowning it out, on second thought,,,lol.

You should call Wolfe about an exchange. They will probably oblige you.
