Genuine Fractals 4.1. They claim you no longer have to save in the .STN format to use it in photoshop.
How is it and is it worth it compared to Photoshop's up sampling tools? I see they are having a 50% off sale until the 20th.

I've been using Scott Kelby's suggested bicubic sharper method for upsizing in CS2.

i have it and have used it occasionally. most of the reviews I have read say it is a little better than current photoshop tools. This seems true, but I have not really tested it on large blowups (I used it but did not compare results with others). It is easier to use than the 3.5 version I used to use.

I have been happy with miranda d2x upsizing tool also. this is the one I usually use, because I am used to using it.

I've tried it, I had 2 16x20 prints made for a customer (same picture) and I used Qimage to upsize one and GF the other, I could not see any real difference in them, they both looked great though. The GF file took longer because I had to do sharpening on the upsized file, QImage can do it at the same time as upsizing, GF may be able to do that, I'm not sure as I regularly use Qimage.
