Smile 2006 Calendar Arrived and I'm published - 12-17-2005, 05:54 PM

Just got the order in from LuLu on my calendars. I placed the order on December 3rd which was a Saturday and received the order today, December 17th. There was some problems on getting the order out. I think they had a problem with the spiral coil. Even though that put a slight delay on receiving, the final product is well worth it in my opinion. My wife was real excited with the quality. I thought they looked good. They are heavy for sure and measure 13" wide x 19" long.

Some of y'all wanted to know after the product arrived how I liked it. I'd say it's worth it.
80 lb. paper and a very nice print job and excellent binding. Way better than anything I could of had made locally.

Here's a shameless plug for my first published product.

Roy, thanks for the info. I was wondering about their quality. Since it's good I think I'll go ahead and put together a calendar for myself and family.

Thanks Evil.

John, the paper has a texture to it but the way they printed it still came thru great I think.
When you get ready to order be aware of the shipping costs. I thought some of the numbers on shipping were too much so I went with 5 day FedEx for about $10.51. If you get concerned about how long it takes printing, they have a live chat that helped some depending on who you talk to. They told me it should only take three to five working days to get the calendars printed. It took longer on mine so I contacted them. They waved the shipping cost to try to keep me happy. I would order from them again, I just wouldn't time it where I needed the order so quickly. If I had the photos ready in November it would of been a lot better but as it turned out, 14 days is still not bad.

Thanks Jerry, appreciate you taking a look at it and you comment

Thanks Mark, I don't see myself making a million here but it would be nice wouldn't it? Frankly I'll be surprised if there are any sales but if anyone wants a nice calendar on a Fort Worth theme, they're available.

I had a couple of different designs made up by Kodak. The quality was very good but I think I'll try LuLu now.

Thanks for sharing

Congratulations, Roy. Nice work.

I might do something similar after the new year for my wife and family members.

BTW: I see your buddy's back in your avatar.

Thanks a bunch Bruce and Mike. My wife has already figured out we didn't order enough to give to people we know (or think) would appreciate one. Oh well.

Yeah Bruce, I really don't care to look at myself in that avatar even with a big camera hiding most of my face. I'd much rather look at my buddy.

Sorry, but I'm not TPF calendar material even when a large portion gets cropped.

Sold one in addition to the 6 we bought. I'm on a roll now........

Did get a couple of reviews though!

I was wrong about the size. They are actually 13.5" x 19"
