Unique Locations? - 02-05-2011, 09:01 PM

Looking for some unique locations in the surrounding Houston area. I live in Pearland and client is looking for backgrounds with...old barn, old fences, tractors, railroad tracks, trains, buses, anything like this. If you could help I would greatly appreciate it.

I dont have any locations off of the top of my head and if noone has responded via a private message, you may want to try these steps in finding a location: http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum...-scouting.html

Check bicycle race routes; a lot of them like to get out of the city and ride through pretty surroundings on less-travelled roads. That should make a good starting point for Google StreetView scouting.

This lists a few near you: Ride Calendar - Bike Barn - Houston, Texas:

There is a park in League City, Right off of 518 and Main St.
They have a nice gazebo, and to the right there is a set of railroad tracks.
to the right of the railroad tracks there are some vacant store fronts. Not real old, but fairly charming. Anyways if you angle right you can get the railroad tracks, and have the buildings in the background. Works out nicely.
Also there is a park called Helen's Garden right across the street. Right now its not all that great because its Winter, but come Spring its beautiful!
