Unusual Print Sizes - 12-26-2005, 07:46 AM

Does anyone know of a company that will print custom print sizes. I have this image http://www.pbase.com/bluman95/image/53922295 that I wanted printed 8x37 and have looked at a few online places and have not been able to find anyone. Thanks!

I never heard of custom print sizes, but you can always print on big poster and then cut the sides, or you can try FedEx-Kinkos... I saw they have huge color ploter.. this might work too

Any of the pro labs that do giclee printing on large-format Epsons should be able to do a custom sized print for you. You'll probably just have to email them and ask for a price quote. I've used West Coast Imaging with good results.

I've used Calypso - http://www.calypsoinc.com - for custom sized prints with good resuts.

You can hit up photo labs, or maybe a print shop, I use Thomas Graphics in Austin:

www.thomasgraphicsinc.com

to get things printed. Never have had a photo printed there, but they have a really nice digital department that turns out quality.

You may also be able to get it done more easily than that. My R1800 will use roll paper and I can do 8.3" x 32' if I need to. See if any of your friends have an R1800 or R2400 as they both will handle roll media. Epson stocks it for about $65 a 32 foot roll. I did a timeline for my wife that was 6 inches by 6 feet. Nothing fancy but it did give me a chance to try that feature.

None of my friends do, but can I ask how much you would charge for it shipped?

I am in England, I am in the Air Force stationed here, how long do you think it would take, shipping is usually a week to get here and how much do you want for it? Thanks
