I know that most users prefer 3rd Party RAW Converters or PhotoShop; however, this is an excellent online audio/video tutorial of Canon's DPP software. Takes the mystery out of the software. I opened my version in the background and paused the tutorial as needed to check out the features.

Let me know what others think.

Sean,

Thanks for posting this. What little I've played with DPP, I like it. So, guess I need to put some time into study and this looks like a good place to start. Thanks again.

No problem David. I went through it twice just so it would "sink" in.

Well, I haven't checked out the tutorial, but for my money DPP does some of the best no-user-intervention RAW conversions. It especially handles vibrant reds on the 5D well.

I still hate the UI and wish the few completely unique features were available elsewhere. Anyone know if any software besides Canon and Breezebrowser support overlay of focusing points?
