Yes sir. And boy did I notice it again after shooting with my Sigma 20mm f/1.8. Whew!

OK, maybe some do it worse than others. However, by the time you get to 20mm, anything circular is going to go football shape on you as you approach the edges. Tilt the camera just a little and things get positively wonky in a hurry.
On the other hand...Set the camera up nice and level on a tripod and shoot something with horizontal and vertical lines near the edges of the frame. If they stay straight, you have a keeper lens. A brick wall works but is sooooooooooooo boring.
