Bushing trick...

Okay, here's one I learn from a photographer recently. I was assisting her and she shoots with a Mamiya RZ67 Pro II (love that camera !). There's a slot for the tripod pin underneath the camera and sometimes you need a bushing to adapt it to certain tripod screws. Now this little bushing is a tiny little piece of metal and very easily lose-able. And I've been on-set where the assistants are scrambling to try to find the bushing but what she did was so...common sense ! She keeps extra ones on her key ring !

So now days I carry two extra bushings on my ring just in case....although I'll admit that now days many photographers I work for shoot digital.

something so small can really make things turn for the worse... its always handy to keep a couple handy and on her keyring is genius!
