Anybody tried this yet? I have a ton of old negatives I'm scanning and the quality of the negatives themselves is not too good not to mention the quality of the photographic technique.

This program looks like it might help making some of these pictures better.

BTW... I've come across some real gems in these old negatives some dating back to the 30's. I'll post some of them sometime in the future.

I downloaded the demo (10 uses), and tried it on a slightly OOF photo.
After waiting 10 minutes while it processed the photo, I gave up.

Well after getting all my chores done I finally got a chance to download and test the program. Unfortunately they don't allow enough uses to even come close to properly test the program.

It has some promise as I can see from using it on some very old B&W scanned negative images but unless I had more uses to refine some of it's functions I wouldn't pay them for the program.

It did make a small difference on some of the images blured due to movement but not much on the bad focus.

Oh well. I'm going to email them and let them know some of the short comings I found durring the test I did and suggest they give it more of a testing period.

Anybody got any suggestions on cleaning up really old negative scans?

Forgot to mention. I had no problem with the program. It ran fine on my P4 2.8 w/4GB ram. I did use the plug in and not the stand-alone because I wanted to test it on some really huge TIF files.

4GB ram is only 4X what I am using. I guess I need to put my money elsewhere (like into some more memory ???)
It seems like a good plug-in, but I think there must be others out there to compare.
