Question was posted prior in the forum on which color settings the consenus uses but was really never answered, so complete this poll.

1. sRGB (natural color setting, according to book - images intended for internet use)

2. sRGB+ (natural plus setting, according to book - set this on flat cloudy days to get more vibrant colors)

3. Adobe RGB (wider color gamut allowing for more color recording)

None of the above:

PhotoPro RGB

I start with it in ACR at 16bits and only convert then I have to for the web or JPEG. It provides the largest gamut and is what Bruce Fraser teaches in his articles on Color Management.

Here are a sample of articles on why it's better.

sRGB. My monitor/lcd are sRGB and so are the print house requirements.

Ditto Redmouse! I might as well work in what my final output is going to be. If I need in a different color space (e.g., CMYK) for a specific print, I'll convert at that point but there's little benefit to working in a color space to just convert at the end.

This, by the way, is also the recommendation (specially for "people photos") from GMB.

I set sRGB on my camera (20D), but in my RAW processing I always output to Adobe RGB. I usually shoot RAW + small JPEG. This way, the small JPEG is in sRGB for web posting. For RAW processing, it doesn't matter what you set on the camera. Often I resize the processed JPEG (not the small one out of camera) for web posting. In which case, I have to remember to convert to sRGB. I've read that Adobe RGB shots posted on the web look flatter than sRGB. I've never noticed it with mine, but I try to use only sRGB for the web, in case the difference shows up on other monitors.
