Note to self.... check ISO settings before pushing button. I was shooting someting at ~600 and did not reset

Ok Kevin,
Maybe not the best example but here is the HDR of the 3 images you sent me.



Processed in Photomatix and then blacks and saturation boosted in Lightroom. You can see that it picked up all the detail under the metal canopy yet still shows detail in the ground at the base and is not so blown out where all the light is streaming in the center.

Here was the three shots that got merged.

Thank you very much Roger.
This is a perfect example for what HDR can do even with a mediocre image. It can bring out details which otherwise would be lost and presents an image of more of what the eye sees when taking the photograph.
Here is the best that I can do using DPP which will have more red than yours because the green at that time was not as strong and the colors of the rust were a tad brighter.
