pictures are a bit small.

i'm not a big fan of the way you cropped the images because some sides are still smooth an straight. there's inconsistency there.

try a simple white border around each picure as if you printed them with a white border..and rotate some and place them next to eaqch other as if they were in a pile on a desk scattered around.

I tried to make a montage poster recently and realized how hard it can be. I agree with Ben that I would make the pictures larger. The texture on the edge of the photos goes with the subject (rugged like the cliffs), and that is neat. I would make the images rectangular, though. This is all just my taste.

I got tired of squares and rectancles and wanted to try something different. I realize they could be bigger pics and I'll do better next time.

Fair enough. I wouldn't say you need to do "better" -- if you like it that's what counts. What about ovals?

Ovals are good I guess. I'm just in a non-conformast attitude lately I guess. I don't mean to sound grouchy.
