I was doing single shot. I'm almost always in servo mode. I was introduced to back button focus when purchasing my first D3 from Kyle Coburn and instantly loved it.

I hardly ever use burst mode, but I don't shoot sports. I did use high speed continuous the other day shooting a 2 year old that had a lot of energy! lol
