Paper question.......... - 01-31-2006, 11:43 AM

I just got set up with WHCC (Impressed!) because I like the Fuji paper they use over MPix's Kodak Endura. Now I get a note from WHCC informing of their coming change to .....Kodak Supra Endura paper. So, does anybody know if there's a diff. between Endura and Supra Endura? I haven't been able to find an answer to this.

Thanks,
~dp

I know that the Kodak Metalic paper has been great so I am sure the new Kodak paper for the lustre and glossy prints will be fine as well.

I think it is how WHCC has their equipment set up with profiles and processes the photos that makes their photos better than Mpix.

I look forward to seeing the new paper. And I know that Mike would not allow an inferior product to leave their lab and has tested the new paper with some folks to see how well it is received.

Yep, I was much more impressed with WHCC's way of doing business and finished product over MPix. But still, I really liked the Fuji paper better than the Kodak. Just sent another order in last night so guess I'll get one of their last batches of the Fuji paper. I'll give Kodak a big thumbs up for the metallic tho. Makes motersickles and cars look really good.

Found the answer to my question: There is no "plaino" Endura paper. They have several XXXX Endura papers with Supra Endura being one of them. Like MPix's sample pack, there's one for Lustre, one for B&W and then the Metallic.

Guess we'll know soon enough how it's gonna look.

I hope there isn't a noticeable difference, either. I have used WHCC for some time now & love the results. Their customer service is outstanding!!
