Not too sure about the first one. Don't quite get what you were trying for.

For the second, I'd consider cropping the building on the right out completely, then cropping down to the top of the road, taking the blown out sky out of the picture and the not very interesting 'facing' building.

The road makes for a strong leading line, and the buildings on the left are interesting patterns with the repeating windows. Might be stronger at a different time of day with more interesting lighting/ window reflections.

Whats the focus of the images? What are we supposed to see? The second one doesn't have any visual point which brings our eyes to. The first is a little better but all the verticals pull they eyes up and out of the image frame.

First one I think I would have worked on the buildings reflected in buildings and zoomed in to just the top of the distant buildingm nothing of real interest in the top half of the picture.

The second one needs you to lean out about 20 ft over the street, so rig up that system to get the camera out there! Or grow some real long arms.

Like Gordon said you may be able to crop it down to something more interesting.
