Anyone heard of PhotoVision?

This is a discussion on Anyone heard of PhotoVision? within the Photo Tips forums, part of the Photography Information category; I checked out a couple of previews and they look informative. I'm thinking about purchasing it, given a promo code ...

Ken,

I have several of the PhotoVision CD's right in front of me. I did have the subscription for a year, and the info was cool on some of them.
But I just never got around to watching all the CD's so I let my subscription lapse.
That and I had gotten in on one of those entry level deals, and they wanted to jack the price up the next year.

It's worth picking up if nothing else for a few ideas to add to your arsenal.

Im thinking $50 would be worth it vs paying $200. Apparently, you would get the DVD's bi-monthly, so enough time to absorb or stew over your recent DVD arrival. :)

The $49 deal does appear a good value. For me the DVD's would sit there and gather dust while a streaming option would allow me to view the content anywhere when I had some time to kill.

Thanks for the link.

I'm going on my second year with it, and I really enjoy the useful info. I'll probably cancel after this year though. Some of it tends to repeat itself, just with different photographers.

I've had it for years... and lately, they've been including versions that can be put on your iPad... making it really handy.

I was getting them for over a year but they just ended up collecting dust on a shelf.
