it's tough... luckily last year i was in an upper level, front row, so i was able to rest my 7D + 70-200 f/2.8 + 1.4x converter on the railing in front of me... it's difficult to shoot because the stage IS moving. I threw quite a few pics out due to motion blur. So cram the ISO up as high as possible to get a higher shutter speed. With the converter I was forced to shoot on f/4 too. I think i ended up underexposing alot and bringing the exposure up in post later on a few too. It's just plain not easy.

You can see some of my shots from last year:

I think i was club level (300's) for zac brown and keith urban, 100's for rascal flatts, and in the suites for clay walker...

John,

Rebecca hit it on the spot......

I shot with a Nikon D7oo with a 70-200 f/2.8 w/ a 1.4 TC @ ISO 3200 plus @ f/4 with the TC on the lens, here are some of my pics from Janet Jackson last year.... which I had AWESOME seats that a friend of my that works @ BP gave me!

Good luck.....
