Thanks for the link, nice effect.

Some of the directions aren't very clear are they?
" For a stronger boost add 20
R:140 G:-20 B:-20
same routine as above for other channels."

What does this mean? They haven't added 20 to any of the values listed earlier to get to 140, -20, -20 ie how do you get to R:140 G:-20 B:-20 from R:120 G:-10 B:-10 by adding 20?

Maybe it means add 20 to the red and subtract an additional 10 from the green and blue, then do the same for the other channels? Or is it just a typo and it should be R:140, G:-10, B:-10?

Also, I'd suggest it would be better to do this in an adjustment layer, so you can vary the opacity and strength of the effect.

The wonderful world of photoshop can get quite confusing. So I have gone ahead and made these as actions for everybody.

All you will need to do is download these from the link provided below and install them into your actions pallette. You do this by clicking on the little triangle in a circle in the upper right hand area of the actions pallette then hit load actions and goto wherever you saved the action at and load it.

Once they are loaded you will notice that all three variences of the Digital Velvia are there. Choose one and hit play. You can see the before and after by clicking on the eyeball that is next to the layer that says Digital Velvia.

This should work in all versions of Photoshop

Just actually had chance to sit with my copy of CS2 and I get it now - plus 20 on the main color for that channel and an accompanying drop by 10 on each secondary channel to balance the total.
I ass-tound myself with my own stupidity sometimes.

Thanks for the action - just done my own. The stronget version is pretty, well, strong, isn't it?

All I was doing with the grouping was a little organizing. It should have done everything else for you. Just make sure the Channel Mixer layer is on top of everything else.

I think you'll be OK, they have a thin candy shell. I'm surprised you didn't know that.
