Canon 20D file numbering system

My 20D's file numbering system changed unexpectedly. It used to name them IMG_4XXX. Now it's replaced the "I" with an underscore as in _MG_4XXX. Anybody experience this? I noticed it happened right about the time I bought a Tokina lens. All other lenses attached to this camera have been Canon. But even using the Canon lenses now, I still get the new numbering system. Anybody got any clues?

if you set the 20D to Adobe RGB then the file numbering will be "_MG ###" but if its sRGB then the numbering will be IMG.. this is of course, according to the manual!

Ahh yes, I did change to Adobe. That explains it.
