I just received the Posing Guides CD and the Guide to Posing the Female Model from Photography Tips... from what I've seen so far I like them. There may be less expensive alternatives out there...

I got the same thing as Steve did- from Photography Tips. Some old classics in there, and some more interesting stuff. Not all great, but certainly not all bad. And it's not too expensive either.

Thumbs up Link to Posing Guide(Free) - 03-06-2006, 08:15 AM

Awhile back, I found the followig link to be helpful:

http://www.photocrack.com/main/index.htm

When you go to their page, click on the "English Version", then go to "Downloads". The second link down on the Downloads Page is a nice little Posing Guide(ModelPose version 1.1 Pro), which is free of charge. It is done in 'line art', but easy to understand.

I hope this helps...Good luck!

Ed

Cindy is right... I have "Posing Techniques for Digital Portraits" by Jeff Smith from Amherst Media. It's about $15 (maybe cheaper on-line) and contains some good tips.
