John Shaw Weekend Workshop - Dallas - 12-30-2004, 05:44 PM

Came accross this the other day. Figured it may interest those into landscape / nature photography. John Shaw is holding a two day workshop in Dallas Jan 29-30. The first day covers photo technique and the other digital darkroom.

Sounds insteresting.

Would love to do that. I've seen stuff about him in a few of the photog mags. Looks good.

This is a lecture, as opposed to a field workshop, right? I just wonder how much extra info would be gained by somebody who's read several of his books. (BTW I highly recommend his books, particularly the Nature Photography Field Guide and the Photoshop E-Book).

I went to his lecture about 3 or 4 years ago. It was very good, but it is a lecture and not a workshop. There will be quite a few people there, but it is still worth going.

I am going this weekend and will let you know how it is. A bit disappointed that it is a lecture but I hope to get something out of it anyway.
