Outdoor dusk/nighttime weddings

I've been asked to cover an outdoor dusk/ nighttime wedding. This scares me. Frankly the thought of having to use a flash all night and worrying about shadows and noise makes me want to run the other way.

How do you all deal w/ these types of weddings? Do you carry around a spotlight like I've seen some photographers & videographers do (and i always hear guests complain about them) or do you use special equipment?

I know practice is the only way I will ever figure this out , but if I don't have the right equipment and can't afford it for just one job, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

would anyone mind sharing a gallery of such a wedding if you have done one?
