self portrait/photoshop

This is a discussion on self portrait/photoshop within the Photo Tips forums, part of the Photography Information category; Anyone catch this shot over at the fredmiranda.com forums? Really clever. Any idea how long something like this would take ...

Looks pretty easy really.

You just have the frame with no back or glass in the same spot.

First shot with you not in the photo. Second shot you stand behind the counter and press through and take the shot. Then all you have to do is mask out the middle and combine the two shots.

I agree though. Very clever. I may have to give it a shot.

Looking at this series of photos from the 4th page of the thread I don't think that's how he did it.

People have asked him how he did it exactly but he hasn't answered yet, that's why I posted here.

He simply cut his frame (with his face in it) and placed it on the table top. To give him proper perspective, I am sure he took the table top shot with the frame in it, ulimately removing it and replacing it with his faced framed shot.

There are several ways to do it...but that would be easiest
