Mystical Edges

My friend recently asked me if I had ever seen this software and what I thought of it. I hadn't seen it so I looked it up. To me it looks okay but seems a bit pricey. I was wondering if any of you guys had seen or used it and what were your experiences with it.

I tried out a beta/trial last year. It's nice, but seemed to be a memory hog.

Most of what they offered though, you could easily duplicate with the various framing/edge techniques freely available on the net: plugins, filters, brushes, etc.
