This action has been discussed a bit over the last week or so, and I realize that unless you have Photoshop (not elements) you can't use this action.

Well, for those that use The Gimp, Corel Paint, or Paint Shop Pro, here are the curve values for Urban Acid. I think these values should work for any curves dialog, maybe even some of the RAW converters.
The values are listed Input, Output:
RGB:
0, 0
44, 27
99, 117
195, 229
255, 255
Red:
0, 0
51, 6

204, 228
255, 255
Green:
0, 0
38, 31
125, 129
197, 223
255, 255
Blue:
0, 0
22, 33

Try setting these and see if the results appear to give you a xprocessed look.
