Interesting test. I got 3 wrong out of 14. After going back to look at the pictures I missed there were signs that should have clued me in (I guessed DSLR on 2 of the digicam pics and guessed digicam on 1 of the DSLR pics).

This strikes me as another one of those techno-geek mental masterbations which miss the fact that the whole point of photography is in the end not the image but the content of the image and it's impact on the viewer.

If we stay strictly in the digital realm, these are pretty interesting results, and comments.
Are we losing our ties to the print medium? If viewing and judging images will eventually be done strictly via videos, it won't matter what your recording instrument will be, DSLR, digicam, Photoshop.
If you still make physical prints, and use those as a judge of imagery, I think the digicam shots will not hold up .... IMHO of course.

Speaking of prints, I was wondering how many prints ya'll have in your house of pictures you took? I have one 24" x 36", two 20" x 28", three 8" x 10", and two 24" x 9 1/3" panos. I'm starting to think of the ceiling as viable "wall space".

You act as if content and technical concerns are mutually exclusive, why is that? Do you honestly believe that people who discuss technical matters have no concerns whatsoever for content/artistry?
You also seem to ignore the fact that there are different genres of photography besides street/PJ, and that some of these genre's do require certain types of equipment, or can at least be done much more better/proficiently with the right equipment.

At monitor resolutions, the old 640X480's from 10 years looked pretty decent. Where the difference comes in, is in the printing!
