Shooting RAW and Photoshop Elements - 04-18-2006, 07:39 PM


Okay, so as I am still learning this camera thing, I found the RAW mode. Nikon user here so keep this in mind.

What excatly is RAW formats and can I use photoshop elements 4.0 to do anything with them. Is this a good idea to use to shoot pics or should I stick with just regualr jpegs.

Photoshop Elements should work with RAW files from Nikon, just make sure you have the latest version of ACR
as for shooint RAW, there are several threads posted on the advantages and there are several great advantages to shooting RAW
