Exposure and lighting help/ Need a teacher, please - 04-28-2006, 11:03 AM

OKay Im need of some help.

I need to re-learn or learn to understand exposure/aperture/shotter speed/ISO and how it all works together to get that beautiful perfect exposure. I am just not " getting" it adn need and want to learn from an expert. Ive tried to get books but Im not a book kinda person I need hands-on kinda teachin. Some one who will be very patient, Im a visual learning and not a technical learner.

I have tried to rap my brain around it on my own, I havent been able to find any real classes on this subject they are either start way to basic or dont touch on this at all.

So if there is anyone out there willing to help and teach me I would love to try.

Let me know how much and where and when..\

Thanks guys.......

Kimberley

Come up to big D and I'll be happy to tell you all that I know. Shouldn't take more than 10 or 15 minutes

Send a PM to Juancho. He knows his stuff and is way closer than I am...

I'm probably in the same boat as you when it comes to exposure problems. But by looking at your site it seems you have a good grasp on things. Nice work.

I hate to tell you this, but those little buttons on the camera that change the exposure are controlling the same things you do in Photoshop. Once in the digital domain, they are all 0's and 1's.

But I also know from watching Greg that if you want to go fast, shoot it right the first time

Kimberly,
I thought I was reading my own thoughts as I read your comments above. I have looked for classes in my area and they a few and far between. I live between Lubbock and Amarillo and I need some help too.
