I had heard positive reviews of Thom's other publications so I sprang for the $30 to get his latest on the D200. It's a hefty manual at 780+ (8.5x5.5) pages. I of course skipped the opening chapters for beginners (arrogant bastard that I am) and dove into the middle section. In just a short while I think I now have a grasp on some of the AF and metering modes that were just Greek to me since upgrading from the D70. It's well written and well formatted. I'll post some more thoughts after I spend some serious time with it, but Dave and Chainsaw give it an initial two thumbs up! YMMV.
