Good Printer in Plano/North Dallas - 05-11-2006, 10:45 PM

I got asked today if there were a good place to send someone if they just needed a dozen or so prints made. (They send out larger orders to a pro lab, but sometimes, they just want a few copies and want them quickly.)

Is there a place like that in Plano/North Dallas that y'all use? I'm not familiar with the area.

I use the Camera Stop in Plano at NE corner of Parker & Preston. Up to 8x12 are real prints done on a Konica R1. Bigger is done with a large format Epson using archival inks on Epson paper. You can buy discount paks to reduce the cost some in quantity. They do a good job for me. All of my 11x14 portfolio images were printed there. They have downloadable icc profiles for both printers in matte, glossy, and canvas papers. They are updated by Dry Creek on a regular basis.

YMMV.

My printer is in Plano, north of the George Bush near Custer. They are pros, but very responsive and excellent quality. You can ftp files up to them and then either pick them up or they will ship. www.flash-back.com You can bring em a disc too, of course. Ask for Kyle or John, good guys.

me and a friend did all the network drops for Flash Back. From everything I have seen of his work it is really really good and his prices are very fair! He is over by the mall in plano....collin creek that is.
