I fooled around with this shot and for a while until I had it where I liked it. What do you think?

It's an interesting study in continuous tone black & white photography. Looks like all the grey tones are represented. The lamp pole by itself is not a very interesting subject, IMHO. I think you need a person leaning against the pole or walking beside it. If you like the pole itself as a subject, then at least show the base resting on the ground. It looks like it's floating in air. Please forgive my criticism. The overall treatment is done very well.

Thank you for your input. It wasn't a planned shot. I was just walking my daughter the view looked interesting so I took a shot and played with it. I agree about the subjet matter, that maybe the something that's missing for me.
