SB-800 and batteries - 06-27-2006, 10:39 PM

What type of batteries do you use for your SB-800 or SB-600?

I am currently using a Duracell Ultra.

I tried using the Energizer Rechareable 2500mAh, but I had to chunk those quick becuase they ran out of juice really fast. I even let them charge over the recommended amount which is 8 hours!

Do you use rechareable batteries?
If so, which do you recommend?

I use Energizer rechargables. I have several sets and don't seem to have longevity issues....

I also use the Energizers rechargable, but I also use that 5th battery pack that came with the SB800... that helps a lot in longevity and recycle-time.

5th battery and Energizer 2500 here also. I had one bad set of them but once I replaced them, I haven't had any problems since. quick recycle times and I can use one set in each flash and get through the entire wedding/event...

Let's make it unanimous. 2500mAh NiMH Energizers. I have two sets of 5. Keep em topped off at least once a week even if I don't use them. But I'm an AR pheek

Drat! Not available for the SB-600. Looks cool, though.
