I've heard of Noise Ninja's brush function being used for this.

have both.. NN is great for "noise" reduction. however, Airbrush works better on the skin.

I have checked out Airbrush and it seems that it is totally automatic. I wonder if that's a good thing!?!

It is, and it is....

You get a great degree of control over how much of the effect is applied and how much detail remains...

You can apply the filter to a seperate layer, hide it with a mask, and then "paint" in the effect.

Although I normally just apply it to the entire image and then apply a blank mask and paint out the eyes, lips, hair, and clothing....

I tried the sample Kodak Gem Airbrush and... WOW!!!!
It will definitely work. I will purchase it this evening.
