If you are feeling in need of something to get the creative juices flowing during this hot summer, go pick up the latest issure of CameraArts. There is a very interesting article on the LensBaby as a new way of seeing and some amazing insect photos which go far beyond the usual bug on a leaf.

After reading mine I was out shooting at 7:30 last night.

I get mine at the Hastings in Brownwood but I would suspect B&N or Borders will have them.

Go figure this, the Hasting in Stephenville carries no high end photo mags but the the one in Brownwood has both CameraArts and Lenswork.

Borders at Lovers and Greenville in Dallas, yes. B & N, don't know.

The photos John is referring to are amazing, very creative.

Think I'll go over to Borders now for some lunchtime reading. I'm only about a 15 minute walk away. Or, to get real in this heat, a 2 minute drive.

I picked up my copy today. I must admit I was a little disappointed. There were only a few pics in that LensBaby article. It was the first time I've read that magazine though and I thought overall it was pretty good.
