photoshop cs2 help

photoshop cs2 help - 08-22-2006, 10:34 PM


ok well i was using photoshop to import a maybe 5 sec aviclip to make an animation and i did but now it doesnt want to save .gif or any other format then .psd i tried editing the extension to be .gif but was considered corrupt and i dont want to download anything to get it to work so if you coukld help me out i'd like that and ill share the animation with you guys

I didn't know about the .avi thing either...have you tried porting it over to ImageReady? I'm guessing it came over as each 'frame' of the movie as a layer.

Just click the 'to ImageReady' icon at the bottom of your tool bar... let us know what you get.

AVi with photoshop? That's the first for me.

I know you can use movie player sw to save frame by frame into image file but...photoshop??

If you have After Effects, you can render a .avi into a PSD sequence or filmstrip and open that in PS. But then you could render the .avi into a GIF animation from AE, so you wouldn't really need Photoshop.

well it was image ready haha but when i openedthe psd it opened it CS2 just like imageready with the animation window and yes it is frame by fram you can select all frames every second frame every third and so on

well i installed only image ready and cs2 (my laptop has very little room left i filled it quick with music and movies so i guess illl have to install after effects im going to wait till i get bac from school to see if anything else might work then i might install it

Click "Save for Web" and that will let you select whatever format you want.
