Academic Superstore (.com) has it for $289 to students and teachers. I had to send a copy of my teaching credential to get an account, students send a copy of their school ID.

CS3 is due next spring. I think they're trying to get Lightroom 1.0 out by the end of the year.

I just ordered and had to call the customer support line. My PSE serial # was valid, but the sales doofus said there was a technical glitch in the page (discount wasn't being factored, resulting in full-price). I opted for express shipping (because I hate waiting for big-ticket items), but believe I should get a greater discount for having to listen to "Dave" hmmm, haw, do-tee-do-tee-do and make insignificant excuses about having not worked sales in months.

student copy - 09-05-2006, 12:46 PM

You might try www.journeyed.com for an educational copy for those of you who have a student at home. They require a current student ID. They have a warehouse in Carrollton, Tx and they also ship.
