Adobe Elements upgrade to CS2 $299 - 08-23-2006, 11:32 PM

I'm not sure if this has been covered in another thread or not.

Until 8/31 Adobe is offering a Win or Mac upgrade from any registered version of PS Elements to PS CS2 for $299 + ship. + tax. Must have serial number for Elements.

Does this need to be a recent purchase of elements?

No, you need not have purchased it all. Some hardware products come with PS Elements. Mine came with my scanner. Any version will do. You must have the Serial Number though which is usually on the CD envelope.

When I tried to upgrade online, I also got the error message saying my PS Elements 4 serial number was not valid. I called the 1-800 number and they processed the upgrade over the phone with no problem.

So what does all this mean? Is Adobe coming out with a new version of PS in the near future?
