Asuka Books ? - 08-31-2006, 03:44 PM

Hey guys for everyone out there using asuka I have a question. I downloaded the templetes from their website and was putting together a sample album 8x8 in photoshop but I wanted to use one image as a panorama .... the problem is it isnt big enough straight from the camera the size is 3456x2304 the templete is 4688x2375

Here lies the question what do you do if you want to make your picture a panorama should I blow up my picture ??? It says not to shrink the templete....

If so whats the best way to make it bigger without making it pxelated .....or do i just need a camera that produces a larger image?

Just resize the image to 4688 wide and you'll lose some of the top and bottom, but that won't affect what's left. I do it ALL the time, even making vertical pics into pano photos in the 10x10 books and never have issues.

Thanks Erica ... you never have any problems with the image quaility ? or the print quailty because the image was resized up?

Use Smart Objects in PhotoShop and the upsizing will not be as bad. Of course, the assumption is you have a good quality image to start with.

Their printing is pretty darn good.
