I'm a teacher in a highschool, last week my principal ask me if I could take a picture of 9 students that are in a special scholarship. they know that I'm always with my camara, yes a love to take photos but I'm not a profesional. I said yes and took the photo, later when I check the photo I notice that the students that are at the ends are blur. I have a canon 300D
What can I do??? I would like to take another that will come clear.
thanks for your help

WEre you using the Tamron 28-200? Could be the lens. Try shooting a blank wall as wide as the kids were apart and see if the edge bricks go out of focus. (then try shooting at a higher F, if you were at 5.6 try 11 or even 16 or 22).

I bet with the f5.0 your DOF that was in focus was falling off on the edges, hence the blur/softness. Kick that F stop up to as high as you can get it, go to a tripod if you have too,
and that blur should drop away.

Or, depending on how large a print they want, you could back up the shot to give some room at the edges, and then crop it. I would probably try both at the next shoot, to make sure I didn't need a third shoot.
