Do you have a pre shot mantra?

I have had no training at all and more often than not I forget to check the settings.
So I was wondering if they taught you in school any helpful jingles or something.
Perhaps something like ISO ISO better check it before the show or
white balance, set it now or lose your allowence
Perhaps my brain is too shot but a p 'ns I think not.
