I think the collage idea is fine and a great way to include a lot of detail shots. Some of the body shots could be a bit brighter and I would like to see more full-car shots. A bit of fill flash would help those shady areas pop a bit more perhaps?

Personally I like the 3/4 low angle shot (that is almost impossible to get when other cars are nearby) to bring out the aggressive stance. http://www.texasphotoforum.com/galle...00&ppuser=4447

Nonetheless, a lower angle is almost always a good weapon in car shots.

If this is your 1st you are way ahead of most of us already!

I like the collage and the detail shots with use of bokeh (i.e. headlight shot) I didn't bother to see the exif on all of these but I'm wagering you didn't have a wide angle. If you were to do this again I'd use the wide angle for low level and interior shots. Working with what you had composition was not bad overall.

How you doin'?

Most of the cars I shoot are sports/muscle or lifted 4x4, so I love low angle shooting. Having been to the Autorama though, I know that can be tough. I usually try to shoot at the headlight level of the car. Mostly just personal preference though, always trying to get the 'menasing' look. Can't offer any tips for lighting though. I didn't get to go this year and practice with the DSLR.

I like some of the detail shots. You sure picked a sweet car to experiment with!
