I don't normally do these types of shots but this house really caught my eye. So tell me what you think, which one looks better?

Colors are pretty good. However, they look soft to me. Architectural images should be sharp in order to bring out detail. Is there a reason you shot these at ISO 1600?

I think I was playing around that day and wasn't paying to much attention to the settings....was planning on only using them to learn CS2 better. I can reshot this place easily as it is next door to my barn, tho right now the grass is no longer green.

The original, the second photo seems a bit sharper then the pp ones.

#2... it just looks better imo. And yeah, if you can reshoot it with a low ISO and proper focus, you'll have a spectacular image!

It may be optical illusion due to the house angles, but it seems to me that the camera is tilted just slightly.

And, no offense to the architect, but the house just doesn't strike me as that special either- partly due to the ugly triple garage occupying half the front of it.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
and then it petered out and I had to retrace my steps and wasted half a day.

Not positive what your pp work is on these but the second shot is the best in my opinion. It's the sharpest of the group. Nothing wrong with shade in architectural photography. It helps with the three dimension and the colors are not over saturated. that's why I'm choosing the second of of all these.

I think you need to work on your color mangement and exposures. I see blown highlights in the sky and none of the colors are consistant between images. The last one has serious green tints across the board.

Basic question is you monitor calibrated? What lens were you using?

Consider doing an HDR of this... Could be interesting.

No 100% calibrated such as SpyderPro. Not sure which lens I had on at this one.
