Okay on this one I did ALOT of PP. First I cropped (the original had to much background crap to retain it) Then I adjusted the curves, levels, color balance, brightness/contrast, and hue/saturation.

This photo seems alot more distorted when up on the site...what am I doing wrong? Also it seems darker!!!! UGH!!!!

Okay here is one more from the same day...one is only cropped, the second cropped and resized. Can resizing cause distortion?

Yup. Are you resizing from smaller to larger? If so, it's very easy to get pixelated distortion. You lose sharpness if you're not very careful to try and push things too far.

yep going from smaller to larger after cropping. Is there a general rule as to how far you can safely push it?
