Where can I get the program that will let me put my pictures into cool looking digital frames? I have seen many folks post pictures here with frames and I like the look.

Thanks!

There are many Photoshop actions that do that - some even come with the program. If you're using something else, I don't know if they'll work.

Even the latest Free Irfanview will put a colored border around the picture, as some of the last I posted have.

Hey Paul,

How do you do that in Irfanview? I've looked and can't seem to find it in the menus.

On the "Image" drop-down menu, select "Canvas Size". It is there. I have v3.97
I don't know if it is new with this latest version, or has always been there. I just accidental discovered it after installing this version.

If it isn't available, on your version, update to the new version, go to the "Help" drop-down and select "About" and click on the Homepage button. Or go to http://www.tucows.com/ and find/search it there.

There are used with Paint Shop pro. I've downloaded a bout 100 free frames and masks. PSP makes it real easy to attach frames.

I have used irfanview for years. It is the best photo viewer i have found. If you associate your picture files with it, double clicking on the picture file will open it instantly. No waiting for a program to load. I have tried a few others for instant viewing but I keep coming back to iview. It ain't perfect, but it works and its FREE. I use it for quick resizing too.

where do you go to download them? every time I do a search i get about 90 percent junk hits and no good leads. i have the ones that came with psp9 but would like to get some more. for some reason i like these better than the frame actions i have in photoshop.

thanks

I've aquired them from all over. I compressed one directory of 353 frames and file is 60MB so I gusess e-mail won't work.... I've counted I have over 500 total frames alone. Another thing I like about PSP is that you can use the frames as masks for another effect..

Like I did here... http://www.usefilm.com/image/667657.html

I might be able to put the file on my web site to be downloaded....
