Okay I'm sure this is a dumb question. I know how to change the Pixels and see that size but where do I see the image size to ensure it is below the needed size, say 500k?

If you are checking for the contest, I don't think anyone has to worry about that. I'd love to see an JPEG image that 800x600 that's anywhere close to 500k! lol

It can be done... I just took an 8 x 10 crop and scrunched it to 640 x 800 and the file size was 448k
